1. What dates are available—and do you offer full weekend rentals?

This is the first question for a reason. Availability sets the stage for everything. If you're hoping for a full-weekend experience like we offer at Raylene Reserve, be sure to ask if the venue allows setup time the day before and cleanup the day after.

2. What’s included in the rental fee?

Don’t assume anything! Ask for a breakdown of what's included—chairs, tables, arbors, dressing rooms, décor items, lighting, parking, etc. At Raylene, we include 100 chairs, a variety of tables, arbors, benches, and access to the bridal suite and lounge in our base price.

3. How many guests can the venue accommodate comfortably?

Know your guest list estimate and compare it to the venue’s true capacity—both for ceremony and reception. Also ask about indoor and outdoor options in case you need to pivot due to weather.

4. Do you require specific vendors, or can we bring our own?

Some venues have a required or preferred vendor list. Others offer full flexibility. At Raylene Reserve, we welcome all licensed and insured vendors—but we’re happy to recommend local pros we love working with, too!

5. What’s your weather contingency plan?

Especially in Florida, this is crucial. If your ceremony is outdoors, ask what the backup plan looks like. Is there an indoor space? How quickly can the switch happen? What’s the process for deciding on the day-of?
